MAH SHOES
Lauren - Outfit of the Day - August 26, 2012
Today I am wearing a green tank top that says "LIVE ALOHA" (from Jenna!(: somewhere in Hawaii), black jeggings (Target, around $15), and Keds (from Payless, $14.99) that I did designs on with Sharpie Stained markers. They surprisingly worked very well, and I might do a hat sometime soon! My makeup is just a little bit of foundation (Bare Escentuals by Bare Minerals, Original, $25, can be found at Nordstrom), and some mascara (ScandalEyes by Rimmel: London, $6, at most drug stores). Also, my hair is just plain ol' straight!

Tip of the Day - How to keep on No-Show Socks
What you'll need:
- A pair of ballet flat socks/sockettes (can be found at any shoe store typically and at Target)
- Some Scotch tape
We all know how it goes, you want to wear your favorite pair of shoes, but socks would look weird with it. You think about going sockless, but then realize that you have P.E. later and you have to have socks for that, so you put on your ballet flat socks/sockettes (there's many names). You walk down the stairs and almost instantly, the socks slip down and fall off. What I'm here to tell you today is, ALL HOPE IS NOT LOST!! A perfect way to keep these half socks on, is tape! Here's how you do it...

1. First, roll up a piece of tape, like so^^

2. Now put the piece of rolled up tape on your heel

3. And put your sock on... (excuse my awkward fading henna)

4. Push the sock onto the tape...

5. And VOILA you can wear your favorite shoes with no-show socks!
